One Year Ago.

One year ago I released my very first worship album. In order to do this album, it required a large step of faith. To do a project like this takes a decent amount of money and also a lot of time. But what Im learning is that when God calls you to something, all you need to do is follow through with obedience and walk through the open door, then watch Him provide and see it through. Thats exactly what He did in regards to this album. I couldn’t have worked with a better team of Producers/Engineers/Mixers and artists than I did. God is so faithful and so so good.

We prayed big prayers over this album. There were also many prophetic things that people spoke about in regards to this album (as well as me too). We are seeing both of these things being fulfilled. In fact, just the other day I got wind of a Church in South Africa that wants to begin leading the song All Praises Rise in their Church. This song has been a staple in our Church, Rivers Crossing Community Church, and is such a great corporate song to lead.  Im humbled that someone across the globe in South Africa has heard it and now wants to lead it, not to mention my wife and I are in the process of adopting a child from Africa. Wow. Literally thousands of people have heard this album, whether it be through them receiving it as a gift, buying it on iTunes, hearing it on Christian Radio..there are so many different avenues. I just want to thank everyone who has helped me get the word out, and those who have  been so generous in sharing about this album and asking your friends to listen to/support it. It really means the world to me.

I owe a huge thanks to my Pastor, Paul Taylor, for believing in me, and not only being an incredible Pastor to be under and on staff with, but also a great friend. Im thankful for your support bro. I love you and your family and I’ll always have your back. Love doing ministry with you. Thanks also to my Church family. Honestly, you guys have led the charge in getting the word out about this album and I love Rivers Crossing. The best is yet to come!

Im amazed that this album is still churning and that people are still, even a year later, connecting with this project. Because of that, Im now working on a follow up EP. A couple months ago I took a poll to see what your favorite songs were off of the album, and you guys voted. Now we are recording those songs and giving them a different feel and vibe. Im really excited about this little project, and I think it will be a great album for all of you to have and share. It will most likely be out early 2013 after the holidays. Stay tuned for that.

Lastly, as a way to say thanks and to hopefully give you the chance to share it…Im offering my worship album, A Love Better Than Life, as a FREE download today to celebrate it being out for one year. Please share this and help get this project into as many hands as possible!
